~ September 6 to September 7, 2023 – The Long Travel Day ~
We’re here! We made it!
Emilia & I met up in Paris and hung out for many hours (she for quite a bit longer) before catching a flight to Biarritz. We landed and went to baggage claim to pick up the little cardboard box with our poles and my knife which we sent under for obvious reasons.
A taxi ride up into the mountains brought us to a cute little hotel called the Logis Xoko-Goxoa.
This is the view from the window. Cute little town of St. Michele.
Dinner is in a few hours then bed. We are both toast.
After breakfast tomorrow, we’ll wander around St. Jean Pied-de-Port. There, we’ll register at the Pilgrim Office, get the first stamp in our Pilgrim Passports and maybe check out the bridge where we start our hike bright and early Saturday morning.
Each of my posts from now on will have a little button you can click to follow a link. It’ll take you to a Google Map showing where I was when I posted that blog.
Feel free to reach out to me. This button will take you to a contact form on the Naga website (I didn’t know how else to do it! Sorry!) but I’ll get it and will email you back:
To get notified when I publish a new blog, fill out the form at the bottom of this page. It’ll take you 30 seconds.
Buen Camino. I’ll keep you posted. 😉
